Ted Donner (Attorney) started his legal studies at Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1987 after a ten-year stint as the box office manager of The Second City in Chicago. His professional experience since then includes work as a law clerk for Corboy & Demetrio, a summer internship at Welsh & Katz, and work as an associate with Rock, Fusco, Reynolds & Garvey. Before opening Donner & Company in 2002, he worked as an Associate and then Of Counsel to Altheimer & Gray, where his practice was concentrated in insurance coverage, antitrust, and general commercial litigation. Ted received his bachelors degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago and is a 1990 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. At Loyola, he served as editor of the law school newspaper, Blackacre, and as a member of the Editorial Board of the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Consumer Law Reporter. [MORE]
Melissa Piwowar (Attorney) concentrates her practice in employment law and commercial litigation. Before attending Northern Illinois University School of Law, where she received her JD summa cum laude, she received her AAS from Elgin Community College and her Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Loyola University Chicago. While at Loyola, Melissa was inducted into lifetime membership in the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. As a student at NIU Law, she competed in the final round of the Mandell Intraschool Moot Court Competition and was awarded Best Oralist. The DuPage Bar Foundation awarded her the William J. Bauer Scholarship in 2021. She received the Directors Award from the DuPage County Bar Association in 2011, 2014 and 2016. [MORE]
