In June, 2022, we celebrated 20 years as a law firm and Melissa Piwowar, after working most of those years as a paralegal, went back to finish law school, finishing magna cum laude as she became DuPage County's newest attorney. That was all cause for quite a celebration!

One of the highlights of Ted Donner's term as president of the DuPage County Bar Association was his "president's trip" to Chicago. Traditionally, these trips carry a group of lawyers, with the bar president, to some far away land for a week's respite in the sun. Ted wanted something of a staycation, and that meant a series of events involving roughly 250 participants. 

To emphasize the importance of community, collegiality and charity, in the summers of 2016 and 2017, DCBA President Ted Donner and the incoming chair of DCBA's Public Interest and Education Commission, Melissa Piwowar, worked with other DCBA volunteers to develop a softball program through... 

From May, 2016-17, Ted Donner served as President of the DuPage County Bar Association. He was sworn in by Hon. William Bauer, who had himself served as president in 1963. The Installation Dinner and Presidents' Ball was held at Medinah, with some 23 past presidents in attendance among roughly 250 attendees. Music was provided by our own Kara Kesselring and the Standing Room Orchestra.  

In May, 2012, Donner & Company Law Offices LLC celebrated its Tenth Anniversary as a law firm in DuPage County. To mark the occasion, we completed a long overdue remodeling, adding a conference room to our facilities and giving the place a fresh coat of paint. In December 2008, the firm held its first event in our new space at 1125 Wheaton Oaks Court (just around the corner from our old digs in the same complex).
